All Electric Scooters, Electric Bikes are covered with a limited warranty solely against manufacturing defects for a period of 6 months, this period will start from the day the product is received by the customer.
At Soothiq, we extend this warranty to 12 months on selected products only (please check product listings for more info), starting from the day the product is received by the customer. This is broken down as 12 months on the product frame and 6 months on other major components.
Additionally, members can enjoy an extended warranty of up to 2 years on selected products.
This Limited Warranty applies to products purchased only from Soothiq; You must be the original owner and have your proof of purchase or order number. The warranty protects you solely against manufacturing defects. The warranty is NOT transferable under any circumstance.
Any defect reported must include an image or video, to evidence the defect. When a defective component is reported, Soothiq technicians will validate the defect, in its sole discretion Soothiq will either:
– Repair the defective component.
– Replace the defective component with a new component, if straightforward for customer to replace this will be sent free of charge, if a repair is required the product may need to be returned to us to carry out.
While we are committed to providing high-quality and branded products to satisfy the trust of our valued customers, it is at the sole discretion of the Soothiq technical team to determine whether the core component or product is defective and if it is covered by the limited warranty.
What does this limited warranty cover?
This Limited Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period. Warranty covers manufacturing defects. Flat tires, brake pads, misuse, water damage and intentional damage are not part of Warranty.
Note: Customer must bring the purchased to service center. Request for transportation to service center is chargeable. Service charge depends on courier’s rate.
What will we do to correct problems?
During the Warranty Period, we will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.
How long does the coverage last?
The Warranty Period is mentioned in each product. Therefore, no warranty covered if no length of period mentioned in the product description. Warranty starts from the date of purchase.
What does this limited warranty not cover?
– External bolts that are prone to daily wear and tear.
– Negligence and use of the scooter/bike in wet conditions, or where moisture has been allowed to sit on the product resulting in rust/corrosion.
– Consumables (such as fuses, brake pads, brake callipers, brake disc, tyres, inner-tubes, brake cables, bearings etc)
– Parts with physical damage, incomplete/broken cable connections.
– Accidental Damage which is not the fault of Soothiq.
– Damage associated with professional and hire use.
– Defects or damages caused from accidents, improper use and storage, abnormal conditions, or loading over the manufacturers weight limit.
– Damage caused by improper assembly or maintenance, this includes damage caused by a third party.
– Damage caused by installing parts or accessories that were not intended for or compatible with the product.
– Damage caused by failure to maintain or service at appropriate intervals.
Note:
Please note that any modification to the product will void the warranty.
The warranty will also be void if you are not the original owner as the warranty is non transferable.
Most electric products are not waterproof and therefore should never be ridden in damp or wet conditions. Please check product descriptions for full details or contact us if you have any questions.
Warranty Terms and Conditions for International Customers
For international customers, the Limited 6-month warranty applies (please see above for details). We understand that shipping products back to us for warranty issues may not always be feasible. To make the process as stress-free as possible and with your best interests at heart, we have a growing network of affiliate local repair shops in selected countries. These local repair shops can handle warranty repairs, providing you with quicker and more convenient service.
The benefits of using our affiliate local repair shops include:
Faster Service: Repairs can be completed more quickly, reducing downtime for you.
Convenience: Avoid the hassle and cost of international shipping.
Expertise: Our affiliates are trusted partners who are familiar with our products and standards.
For those in regions where we do not yet have an affiliate local repair shop, we will ship the required parts to you free of charge. You can then source a local technician to replace the part if you are unable to do it yourself, and liaise with Soothiq Technicians for guidance.
