What are the advantages of the Blitz over the Master V4?

The primary design goal with the Blitz was to keep the total weight down as much as possible, and it seems like Begode has achieved that goal, with the Blitz coming in at almost 20lbs less than the Master V4, similar to the early gen Masters with plastic battery boxes, while keeping the all-metal design of the ET Max. Begode has also put significant effort into tuning the firmware on the Blitz, which in our testing provides a much smoother and more predictable ride compared to the Master.

Could the Blitz have been a 168V Wheel?

Due to the extra battery cells needed to get up to a 168V system voltage, which would add height and bring the weight above 88lbs, Begode opted for a 134V system on the Blitz. Those looking for a “168V Blitz” will be interested in the ET Max, as that’s essentially what that Wheel is, with a focus on performance and stability rather than keeping weight down.

What charger is included with the Blitz? Is it rapid-charging capable?

The Biltz will ship with a 5A charger in the box, which is already a step up from the usual 3A. Following in the footsteps of the ET Max, the Blitz also supports 20A charging with a compatible fast charger. 11A is the maximum charge rate possible through a regular household outlet, as any higher would trip the circuit breaker, meaning you’ll need a higher-amperage 120V circuit or a 240V circuit to achieve the full 20A charge rate.

What is a realistic maximum cruising speed for the Blitz?

The Blitz will have similar max speed figures to the Master V4, with riders able to maintain 50-55mph on a full charge for at least 10-20 miles. Faster speeds are possible through the use of race mode and field weakening, but it takes significant effort to ride on the edge of the wheel’s speed capabilities for a prolonged period of time. The Blitz is theoretically a bit faster than the Master, as its free spin speeds exceed that of the Master V4 by ~10kmh.

Which tire options will be available?

The Blitz will be offered with either a tube-type knobby tire (the CST C-186 that Begode has been using for years), or a tubeless 90/90-14 tire (the Daoluchi LC320, a lighter tire compared to the one offered on the ET Max). The rim design has been updated to allow for a more predictable turning response on the knobby tire, and this specific street tire was chosen to help keep the wheel’s weight down, which also helps with braking and acceleration responsiveness as there’s less rotating mass for the motor to deal with.

Can the LED light scheme be customized to different schemes?

The front accent light strips are reportedly not customizable, but the top RGB accent lighting strips will be configurable via the Begode app. The “halo” running light on the headlight module cannot be disabled, similar to the blue accent lighting found on the MTen4 and A2’s headlight.

Have any other notable hardware improvements been made to the Blitz?

A first for Begode, the Blitz will be capable of data logging similar to what Leaperkim offers thanks to additional hardware on the controller, which should allow for easier diagnosis of intermittent or oddball issues. In the unlikely event of a loss of balance while riding, these logs will provide insight as to what caused the event, such as excessive riding speed or a hardware fault.

The Blitz will reportedly offer GPS tracking, is that true?

Begode had indicated this feature would be present, but upon receipt of our first shipment, it would appear that is not the case. We’ll continue to push Begode to develop this hardware feature, it may be available as an add-on at a later date.

What is the maximum rider weight that the Blitz can support?

The maximum rider weight the Blitz can support is the same as the Master V4, Begode quotes this figure as 265lbs, however the system should be robust enough to support riders up to 290lbs.

What accessories are available for the Blitz? Will it come with power pads?

While the Blitz does not ship with power pads from the factory, we will be including a set of the Universal Beidou power pads with every Blitz purchase. The Blitz uses a new pedal and pedal hanger design, meaning all previous Begode and Begode-compatible pedals won’t fit on the Blitz. However, Beidou is already working on a solution for aftermarket pedals, as well as an aftermarket seat kit and aftermarket headlight.

How weather-resistant is the Blitz?

Begode claims an impressive IP67 rating on the Blitz, backed up by two different independent testing facilities, indicating full protection against dust and particulate as well as, in theory, excellent protection against water ingress. Despite this, and considering the fact that there is no official governing body who approves IP ratings, we still recommend the usual caution when it comes to rain/water, i.e. light rain and small puddles are ok, but heavy rain and large bodies of water are to be avoided wherever possible.

We offer warranty and post-warranty servicing, which is provided at our service center. We keep most spare parts in stock and are able to get other parts in a very short period of time thanks to our direct contacts to the manufacturer. Therefore, when buying this EUC, you do not have to worry about service or unavailability of spare parts. Thanks to our experience and contacts, we can handle more complex malfunctions and diagnostics.

Begode Blitz
Great wheel. It ticks all the boxes for me. Light weight, great design, stable, and FAST. This is my first big wheel having previously ridden the inmotion v12. The upgrade to suspension makes the ride feel like you’re floating. The Blitz’s adjustable suspension is amazing in that sense, because you have full control over how it interacts with the road (customizable dampening system). The street tire performs phenomenally. Great for cornering and the added benefit of it being tubeless reduces the fear of any premature flats. The 20 inch wheel along with the low center of gravity makes this the most stable ride I have experienced. The thing WANTS to be upright the faster you ride. Despite this being a C32 motor, the acceleration and torque are excellent. I have yet to overtorque or overlean on this wheel when accelerate from a stand still (I have actively tried, and I physically can’t). I highly recommend getting the Powerknobz pads with this if you want full access to the power this wheel yields. The wheel itself is the best looking in the begode lineup. Side note: if you happen to not be a fan of the blue lights on the front of the wheel, there is no setting in the app that lets you turn them off. Having said this, you are able to just unplug them from the wheel (easy fix). I do wish begode gave more options in customizing the light patterns. The strip on the top has two options to choose from, a moving rainbow strip or a red one that indicates when you turn by flashing yellow on one side.

All in all this wheel is great if you are city rider that wants to keep up with faster traffic while feeling stable. Excellent performance all around.

Begode Blitz
I’m loving how the Blitz rides, it is unbelievably smooth and powerful, when you lean hard on this wheel it feels like your being yanked forward by some unreal power. It’s hard to describe the feeling.

As far as trail riding goes, it is an extremely comfortable and entertaining experience. This wheel can take any rock drop or steep downhill with ease and control, the suspension sounds so smooth and quiet when taking it off large drops. The stock street tire performs excellent on loose dirt and sand, id say almost as good as my old shinko 241. I got this wheel as an upgrade to a V11 and I don’t think I could have made a better choice. Highly recommend the Blitz and highly recommend Soothiq for your electric unicycle needs.

Horizontal level doesn’t stay set. It returns to default setting each time I turn it off.

I can NOT center the tire on the rim.
