The semi-integrated 48V, 14Ah battery offers a range of over 45 miles on a single charge and is easy to remove for convenient charging.

All Rad eBikes are either UL Certified or tested by ACT to comply with UL 2849 standards. Rad Power Bikes was founded by Mike Radenbaugh in 2007. As a teenager, Mike built his first electric bike, known as “The Frankenbike,” to make his 15-mile commute to high school more manageable. This innovative creation sparked his passion for electric bikes, leading him to convert traditional bicycles into e-bikes for local customers.
In 2015, Mike teamed up with his childhood friend Ty Collins to relaunch Rad Power Bikes as a direct-to-consumer business. So Much Fun
I have MS and I am also turning 68 this month. This is the first and only bike I have ever owned. I love the freedom it gives me and it is so much fun! The pedal assist is so helpful while still keeping me engaged physically when I am overly challenged. I waited for a pricing discount and really only had one criteria and that was step through. The offer came and I jumped on it. There are a lot of unknowns at least for, that I had to learn because I did not ask. Oh well.
You will need a car with a hitch to install a bicycle rack if you want to do destination/location riding. You need a bicycle rack, a mirror, and a helmet. I purchased a comfort seat and a cell phone holder. These are what I started off with. Money, more money, and more money. And, I paid to have it put together. Best decision EVER! The fat tires make me feel safe as well. I am enjoying getting outdoors everyday and doing something good for myself. I am so thankful and blessed.

Great for everything
Fairly easy to put together, instructions were very good. Hardest part was getting it out of the box. took two people. Only rode it around the neighborhood for a few days to get used to it. Last ride was 12 miles on a local bike path. Bike performed well. Rode in level 1 and used the throttle going up hills. The Battery only dropped 2 bars out of 10, so should easily go the miles advertised on a single charge.
